It's been two years since Sprout's Grand Opening in April 2016. Since that time, the indoor winter markets have brought in 113 vendors and over 2900 shoppers. The food hub has sold $347,000 worth of produce sourced from over 80 local growers who operate small farms.
A special thanks to the 120-plus business leaders who joined us on Wednesday April 11 to kick off the Talent Advantage Series. We had an incredibly well-rounded workfoce disucssion filled with deep data, challenges, solutions and more. Statewide demographics show the acute regional shortage is going to be with us for at least a generation. And it's efforts like this, where broad cross-section of people come together for purposeful conversations, that help to surface solutions. Special thanks to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce for joining us.
